Birthday Party Frequently Asked Questions
We ask that the Party Host arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled party time to unload the car, check-in the Guest of Honor & family and be there to greet party guests. Party guests are encouraged to arrive as close to the scheduled party time as possible.
Will there be a Kangamoo staff member available to assist me in the party room?
Yes! A staff member will be available to assist you in the party room.
Is a deposit required to book a Party?
A $150 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to confirm your reservation.
- Deposits are non-refundable.
you do need to cancel the party, we will work with you to find another
date and time that will work best for you within one year of original
party date. Your original deposit will be applied towards your
re-scheduled party. Alternatively, you may use the $150 deposit towards
store credit (to purchase play passes or memberships).
How many guests can I invite?
For the comfort and safety of all guests, party headcount may not exceed 44 (adults/kids combined) inside the Private Party Room during an "Open Play" party. Keep in mind, Parents and Adults are welcome to hang out at the Parents' Lounge at any time during the Party as well! A $10 Admission Fee will be charged for each child (Ages 1-10) over the number included in your package.This does not include food/drinks/add-ons/accessories. For larger groups, please call us about options we offer.
How do I schedule a Kangamoo party?
It's easy! You can book online, by phone or in person.
What if I need to reschedule/cancel my party?
Advance Notice: 14 days advance notice is required to reschedule your event from its original date.
If you reschedule or cancel your event less than 14 days prior to its
original date, your deposit is non-refundable and you may be held
financially responsible for the full party package price, if the time
slot is not filled after your cancellation. Rescheduling is subject to
availability & not guaranteed.
- If you reschedule & host your event within 1 year of the original date, the deposit will apply towards your new party date.

What are your standard weekend party start times?
Weekend Parties begin at either 5:15pm OR 5:30pm. Reservations are based on availability at the time of booking with deposit paid. (A $150 deposit is required to confirm your reservation.)
What food items can be brought into the facility?
- Fruit/vegetable & salad platters which are store bought AND in the original store container
- Unopened juice, soda and water bottles/cans are OK.
- Unopened bags of chips or pretzels are OK.
- Pizza, Sandwich, Catered Platters store bought AND in the original store box/packaging are OK.
- There will be no refrigerator or microwave available to your party. Plan accordingly.
- Your cake, cookies or cupcakes are OK.
No food from home is permitted (except for cake, cookies, cupcakes).
- No other outside food is permitted and will not be served. Sorry, no exceptions.
- Store-Bought, Catered OR Delivered Food is OK (with receipt)
What assistance do you provide in the party room?
A lot! First, the party room is cleaned and set up for you with your cake, Birthday Child's gifts, and other decor (goodie bags, balloons, etc). Our Staff will also be there to serve food & drinks for the children, and will take care of cleanup. Of course, we'll check in with you from time to time to see if you need anything too.
Will the party room be available for us during our party play time?
Yes, your private room is available to you and your party for the entire time of your scheduled party. Because all of our party rooms are private and there will usually be another party before you and after you, please be punctual and respectful of your 2-hour window.
I need to book a larger party, we have more than 22 kids.
For larger groups, please call us about options we offer. A private party is recommended for groups expecting more than 22 kids and are based on availability. A party with 22+kids can be hosted in our front Parents' Lounge, which will accommodate everyone comfortably. Call us to discuss the availability and options.
Can I book a party that is longer than 2 Hours?
For special requests or extended party hours, please call us! We can discuss specific options that may best accommodate your needs/requests.
What if I am late for my scheduled party time? What if my Guests are late?
We understand that things happen. However, your private party is to be held at the scheduled event time. To maintain private parties, we are not able to extend or modify your event's schedule without at least a 14-day notice of the changes.
Do I need to stay at the party?
Yes! The party host is required to stay at the party until your last guest departs.
Can I use my own decorations and/or paper products in the party room?
Yes! You’re welcome to use your own decorations and/or paper products in the party room. To preserve the integrity of our party rooms, decorations are limited to tabletop decor and "light" decorations on walls and/or ceilings. We DO NOT permit Silly String, Confetti, Glitter or Traditional Piñatas (*Pull- string Piñatas are OK).
What if less/more kids show up on the day of the party after I have placed my pizza, balloons or goodie bag order?
Food & other party resources are prepped prior to your event based on the details provided by you. We may adjust your Party Package UP (NOT down) on the day of the event. You may purchase Goodie Bags, balloons, beverages a la carte at your event (*subject to stock on hand). Additional food orders are subject to delivery schedules & fees, and may not be available on the day of your event.
